BDG Net - Responsible Gaming
BDG Net responsible gaming: how to set deposit and time limits, recognise problem-gambling warning signs, self-exclude, and reach confidential 18+ support helplines.
Play within your limits
At BDG Net, responsible gaming begins before you make your first deposit. Set a fixed weekly budget, for example ₹500 or ₹1,000, and treat it exactly like a cinema or dining-out expense: money spent for entertainment, never money expected to return a profit. Link your BDG Net wallet to a dedicated UPI account on PhonePe, GPay or BHIM and load only that budgeted amount at the start of the week. When the balance reaches zero, stop, do not top up from your savings or salary account.
Never chase losses. If you lose ₹300 in a session, resist the urge to deposit another ₹300 hoping to recover it. Chasing losses statistically produces larger deficits in the same session. Take regular breaks of at least 15 minutes every hour, and avoid playing late at night when fatigue weakens judgment. Gaming on BDG Net should coexist comfortably with your work schedule, family time and financial goals, if it does not, the limit tools described below are designed specifically to restore that balance.
Warning signs of problem gambling
Problem gambling rarely appears all at once. Early signs include spending more than your planned amount "just this once," thinking about upcoming sessions during work hours, or feeling irritable when you cannot access BDG Net. More serious indicators are lying to family members about how much you have deposited, or borrowing money through apps like LazyPay or KreditBee to fund gaming.
Financial red flags include unexplained gaps in your GPay or PhonePe transaction history, overdraft alerts from your bank, or skipping EMI payments to keep your wallet topped up. Emotional red flags include gambling to escape stress or loneliness, and feeling guilt immediately after a session yet returning within hours. If you recognise three or more of these signs, act immediately using BDG Net's self-exclusion tools or contact iCall India before the pattern deepens.
Deposit, loss and time limits
BDG Net provides three configurable limit types in your account dashboard under Settings → Responsible Gaming. A deposit limit caps the total you can add to your wallet over a 24-hour, 7-day or 30-day rolling window, for example ₹2,000 per week. A loss limit halts further play once your net losses reach a threshold you define, such as ₹500 in a single day. A session time limit sends an alert and locks gameplay after a set number of minutes, such as 60 or 90 minutes per sitting.
Limits take effect immediately when tightened and require a mandatory 48-hour cooling period before they can be relaxed, giving you time to reconsider impulsive changes. These controls are more effective than simply removing a saved card or UPI handle from PhonePe or GPay, because the restriction is enforced at the platform level rather than the payment layer. We recommend all new players on BDG Net activate at least a weekly deposit limit from day one.
Self-exclusion and cool-off
If limit-setting is not enough, BDG Net offers two stronger interventions. A cool-off period temporarily suspends your account for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days, your profile and balance are preserved, but login is blocked for the full duration and cannot be cancelled early. A self-exclusion is a longer-term block of 6 months or more, suitable when you feel gaming has become genuinely harmful. During self-exclusion, BDG Net also suppresses all promotional emails and bonus notifications sent to your registered address.
To activate either option, go to Settings → Responsible Gaming → Take a Break, choose your duration and confirm with your account PIN. If you need the exclusion extended before it naturally expires, contact BDG Net support via live chat, extensions are processed within one business day and no reason is required. Choosing self-exclusion over a simple deposit-limit increase is always the safer option when you are unsure of your ability to stay within boundaries.
